Régis Colombo
Régis Colombo (born on April 2, 1969, in Montreux, Canton of Vaud) is a Swiss freelance photographer.
A traveler to a thousand destinations and author of several books, Régis Colombo, an accomplice of the darkroom, known for his constantly evolving technique and working in the field of stealth photography, is always looking for the smallest detail. He invites us into a timeless world where the diversity of things and beings is highlighted. He holds a fragment of space-time that will no longer return, holding his camera in one hand and his imaginary frame in the other. The one you see in the frame and the one outside the frame. This ingenious idea makes it possible to reproduce photographs in several dimensions.
The artist dilutes colors and the memory of time like a photograph exposed to the sun. He thus invites us to "see the inside from the outside" as he likes to point out. However, he has not forgotten his reflexes of postponing and has insisted on immortalizing his vision of eternity in order to open a window so that light can enter. Today, thanks to new technologies, the artist gives a new reality to the expression of his imaginary world.
